Trinity Mirror Digital's icSport site covered 7 major sports, including team profiles, live coverage and feature writers columns. I was promoted to senior sports designer in order to manage the design of the site -this involved dialogue with senior management and sports producers - whilst also heading up a team of designers and a picture researcher.icSport was launched in September 2000. As soon as the site was launched a redesign was started- following usability studies and natural evolution of ideas. Despite the fact that the site had a promised investment of £150m over three years it was closed following a change of direction within the company.
